How To Use A Spiral Curling Iron

Hey Ghandoora readers! Today, I was looking in an Ulta magazine while I was waiting for lunch in a restaurant, and I saw this weird looking iron. It read "Spiral Curling Iron" I decided to look it up, and figure out how to use it, and what it is.

How..?

Instructions

Things You'll Need

  • blow dryer with diffuser
  • styling gel
  • spiral curling iron
    • 1. Shampoo hair and apply conditioner. Blot hair dry with a towel.

    • 2.Comb through hair with a wide-tooth comb. For spiral curls that will last longer, add styling gel near roots and comb through to ends of hair.

    • 3.Blow dry hair with a diffuser. Lift and separate strands of hair while blow drying. For straight hair, don't brush while drying.

    • 4.When hair is completely dry, start on one side of the head and use the spiral curling iron on sections of hair. A steam mist spiral curling iron will prevent hair from drying out too much.

    • 5.Wrap each strand around the spiral curling iron, leaving wrapped for as long as it takes for the hair to hold the curl. This varies by hair type, so you'll have to experiment to determine the correct amount of time for your hair.
    • 6.Allow each curl to cool completely after removing it from the spiral curling iron. Don't brush the curls.
    • 7.When entire head has been curled, apply a light hair spray to add more volume, and beauty!

  • Tips & Warnings
Use the spiral curling iron to touch up curls that have lost their shape.
Use a light hair spray to allow your spiral curls to move.
Brushing spiral curls will cause them to lose their shape, and you'll end up with waves.
